About the Species
The Rekia species is about the same size/ build of a Grey Hound, though the females are slightly smaller than males. They're a mostly feral species that lives in heavily wooded areas of the world. Their prefered location is in the Rocky Mountain range or the American-Canadian border. They mate for life and, if the case arises that one of the pair die, will NOT find another mate. Their bond is the strongest in the animal kingdom. It is not uncommon for Rekia to bond to souls of other species. Because of this, their loyalty/ faith is strong and can eaisly become domesticated.
Females:
Female Rekia spend most of their adult lives gathering items for her nest. Nests are usually built on high ledges of mountains or tall Pine trees as to deter predators from snacking on her pups. Females are the gentler of the genders.
Males:
Male Rekia are the main provider (if in a pair). They do most of the hunting and defend their territory, though mostly due to the fact that the females are smaller than males. When his mate has pups, the male Rekia will keep his distance (only approaching her to bring food) until the pups are weened. Males are more aggressive than females.
